Health Care Assistant/Nursing Support Worker learning event: Caring for Older People

This event is open to all health care assistants and nursing support workers in West Yorkshire who work in the independent sector (care homes/nursing home)

Register to take part in this learning event at Fieldhead Park Nursing Home in Mirfield.

The programme includes speakers on oral health and hydration in the care of older people, and an interactive workshop on how to identify approaches to encourage and support older adults to meet their hydration requirements. There will also be a speaker talking about how to recognise deterioration in a patient/resident.

The speaker sessions will be followed by round table discussions for reflection and discussion as well as time for asking your questions and networking with your colleagues
