Endometriosis and pregnancy

23rd February 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 8:20 pm

The first event of the academic year will present an introductory talk on endometriosis, followed by trainees discussing its management, and a PhD student in endometriosis presenting their work in the first session. The second session will focus on premature birth, following the same format as the first.

This dual-topic approach aims to provide attendees with comprehensive exposure to both subjects in our specialty. Audience participation is encouraged, and a vote for the best trainee presentation will be held at the end of the meeting.

By attending this event, you will:

  • Know how to identify factors of and diagnose endometriosis
  • Learn the management of endometriosis, its symptoms and health effects
  • Understand the risks endometriosis presents in pregnancy and identify predictive factors that may lead to premature labour
