Orthopaedic trauma symposium 2023
The popular annual RSM Orthopaedic Trauma Symposium is back in a face-to-face format. The well-established symposium provides a comprehensive update on evidence-based management and operative techniques in orthopaedic trauma for practising surgeons and a concurrent basic science primer for surgeons in training.
The successful interactive format includes short lectures, case-based discussions and demonstrative surgical masterclasses over a 3-day programme where the distinguished faculty will share their knowledge and expertise on a wide variety of clinically relevant topics. Days 1 and 2 consist of two streams: The first stream focuses on the main program of relevant, common topics delivered by opinion leaders and experts, whereas the second one will focus on a concurrent didactic program aimed at middle-grade attendees preparing for their examination as well as established surgeons looking to refresh their knowledge. Participants from both streams will be able to attend the main keynote lectures. Day 3 is a single-stream event.
