Neurology | One Day Essentials
February 26 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
With the rise of remote consultations, we have created a programme that will cover most of the challenging neurological presentations in general practice with tips on how to recognise and to manage them remotely, including when and where to refer. Youll learn lots of practical tips to help you improve your practice and your patients care.
All live One Day Essentials conferences (ODEs) are free and available exclusively to RCGP members. Check your diary, register to attend, or if you can’t make it access the content on REWIND. You can catch up on all the recordings and presentation slides for up to nine months afterwards, and you can register at any point during this time.
Note: we endeavour to upload content as quickly as possible after the conference; this typically takes up to two weeks.
Learning Objectives:
- To be able to identify, diagnose and manage the common neurological conditions
- To avoid medical pitfalls in primary care
- To identify the relevant red flags to reach a proper management plan including referral in a timely fashion
- To improve understanding and confidence in recognising and managing functional neurological disorders
- To update us on related NICE guidelines
- To help developing clinical pathways to facilitate transformation of services in your locality
Topics include:
- Dizziness
- Sensory disorders
