Mental illness and palliative care: Practical approaches and innovative solutions
Join us for our fourth annual interactive study day bringing together mental health and palliative care professionals. Experts in their fields will explore the best new ways to work with and support those who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness or potentially life-limiting, progressive illnesses which require palliative care.
This meeting aims to cross boundaries between psychiatry and mental health to promote multiprofessional and multidisciplinary learning through workshops and case-based discussions.
Meeting objectives:
- Gain an overview of new innovations for meeting the palliative needs of people with mental illness
- Understand approaches to managing mental and physical multimorbidity
- Learn from best practice examples in psychiatry and palliative care
- Engage in interactive workshops exploring mental and physical multimorbidity
