Hip preservation
Join this event to increase awareness of preservation surgery, an emerging procedure in treating hip pathology, and learn about the cutting-edge hip preservation techniques and the indications for these procedures to widen their use within the UK.
The speakers present at this conference represent a unique cohort of hip preservation surgeons pioneering the technique in the UK and internationally. This makes the Hip preservation conference at the Royal Society of Medicine a unique, high-yield opportunity for trainees and practising surgeons looking to expand the offer of hip preservation surgery to their cohorts of patients.
Event participants will:
- Learn about the common indications for hip preservation surgery
- Understand common techniques and anatomical considerations in hip preservation surgery
- Appreciate how techniques can be applied to more specialised patient populations such as those with paediatric deformities or athletes
- Increase awareness of the areas of future research pertaining to hip preservation and the potential for the increased utility of the approach to hip pathology
