13th April 2022 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Free for trainees

A half-day educational session for sub-speciality interventional EP trainees on ventricular tachycardia, including diagnostic and treatment, approaches, with a particular focus on VT mapping and ablation. This meeting aims to highlight and discuss aspects of ventricular tachycardia (VT) management for sub-speciality cardiac electrophysiology trainees, with a particular focus on VT mapping and ablation.

Topics will include management of VT occurring in normal hearts as well as various forms of structural/electrical cardiac disease, medical management options and approaches to catheter ablation of VT.

By the end of this meeting delegates will be able to :

  • Understand the mechanisms and ECG characteristics of VT
  • Review optimal management of different VT aetiologies, including acute electrical storm
  • Understand different techniques for mapping, entrainment and ablation of VT
  • Explore future directions in VT management
