Topic – Understanding the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) Test of Competence (ToC)
Join our live events and be part of and support RCN’s community of internationally educated nursing professionals (IENs). The RCN recognises the enormous contribution IENs make to health and social care, and we understand the specific challenges IENs face when first arriving and working in the UK. Our series of live events will assist IENs with these challenges and provide the opportunity to ask questions. This live event will focus on:
Understanding the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) Test of Competence (ToC).Charlotte Collings, Recruitment and Retention Nurse and Eastern Region Board Vice Chair, will be hosting this session and will discuss the different components of the ToC, including:
- English Language
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE)
By the end of the session, you will have gained an understanding and awareness of eligibility for the ToC, the different requirements for English Language proficiency and subsequent registration.
